MONSTASMOMMA- That's Me

MONSTASMOMMA.  You might be thinking, "that's a weird name".  I agree.  My three kiddos though, they have always been mommy's little, and not so little anymore, monsters. Then there's me, their Momma.♡ Thus, MonstasMomma.  When the world shut down in 2020, I, like the rest of the world was bored...and discovered tiktok... I only watched the videos at first, laughing and sharing posts. It allowed me and my oldest daughter to connect on a new level as she was quarantined at her dads house and it was hard the first few months after Covid. I started listening to the live streams and found some friends who were also bored and locked in their houses all over the world.  I created my tiktok handle before I really understood what it even was, a 30 something mom of three new to tiktok creating a profile and after a few months of making friends here and there all over the app the name just stuck...I didn't want to change it and have none of my new friends know who I was...

Better Late Than Never

This is the trip I've been dreaming about for years. It's the trip I promised to make ever since I was old enough to talk.  I've tried repeatedly to make it happen. Once I was finally a grown up making my own decisions, due to my kids school schedules, finances, and many other everyday and not so everyday hiccups it never got to happen.  I promised my Aunt, my dad's sister, I would get down here to visit her and meet her husband one of these days. I'm sad to say I never got to keep that promise. One of these days never happened and then it was too late.  This past February her husband died suddenly and in March she heartbreakingly passed away from cancer. I was shattered. Since that wasnt enough to break us all, shortly after that in April, my Uncle, her and my father's brother, passed away too soon due to cancer with covid complications.  Our family was going through it. There were a few moments and announcements that shined through the darkness, like my Uncle...
